TRIO is looking for a Clinical Trial Assistant based in South Korea to join our Monitoring Resources team. Reporting to a CRA Line Manager, this position will be home-based in the Republic of Korea.    

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Clinical Research Associates in collecting/preparing documents required for clinical trial submissions to Korean IEC/IRB and/or Hospital Authority. 
  • Assist CRA's in ensuring that current versions of the required trial documents, trial-related materials and supplies are provided to the investigational sites within required timeframes, as applicable.
  • Assist in liaising with local vendors for sourcing of clinical supplies, calibration requests, translation, etc. as required.
  • Provide administrative support to CRAs with essential documents management which may include collecting, uploading to eTMF and archiving study related documents as applicable. 
  • Assist CRAs with the distribution of safety notifications to sites and reporting to IEC/IRB as required.
  • Assist CRAs with maintaining trackers related to site invoices and payment activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role or at least 3 years experience as an Administrative Assistant.  Some experience in clinical trials is an asset. 
  • Excellent skills required in the following software: Excel, Word, Power Point , Outlook and ability to work with a CTMS.
  • Read, write and speak Korean fluently. 
  • Read, write and speak English (Business Level).
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field, scientific discipline is highly preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and achieve project timelines.
  • Effective time management in order to meet daily metrics or team objectives.  Must work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
